			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> <b>Advertising as</b> we know it, probably beginning in 1904 when John E. prosper Kennedy, the world that definition: <b>Advertising</b> is marketing-in-print. A definition that has not since been found, and many have tried. </p>
<p> But modern day began <b>advertising</b> a few years earlier than Kennedy when Richard Sears produced the very first post claims (approximately 1892). This catalog contained hundreds of pages of articles for sale, each with their own salescopy. And Sears Roebuck is still going strong today in the marketing and sales. </p>
<p> At this <b>time, advertising agencies</b> came up everywhere. And the people they hired, and trained, we had such a treasure for all marketers today, the top show in their resource library, and use to their advantage. </p>
<p> Shortly after Kennedy arrived on the scene have come together Claude Hopkins. He told us with a legacy we should all thank him for. He pioneered the market test, trials, vouchers, andA lot more. </p>
<p> At the end of the century there were many others: Walter Dill Scott, Maxwell Sackheim, Haldeman Julius, John Caples, and four. </p>
<p> Then around the middle of the century as a genius like Elmer Wheeler, Robert Collier and others to appear. </p>
<p> Post war, <b>advertising</b> greats David Ogilvy, Joe Karbo, and Gary Halbert also their trademark. </p>
<p> And living legends Jay Abraham, John Carlton, Dan Kennedy, and Ted Nicholas, allmany millions for themselves and their customers. </p>
<p> By the end of the century, the greatest marketing tool of all time is unleashed in the world &#8211; the Internet. Early precursor of the Internet, Ken McCarthy, is still around and his &quot;System&quot; seminar is an absolute must attend. </p>
<p> The Internet has opened a whole new world of <b>advertising</b> and marketing. And a new type of entrepreneur was born. Guys like the late, great Corey Rudl, Marlon Sanders, Robert Imbriale,Yanik Silver, Jim Edwards and many others have shown what can be done in such a short time. </p>
<p> But one thing all the &quot;gurus&quot; have in common is that the markets studied. They study the psychology of what makes people buy. They have learned from these principles the great masters of the past, John Kennedy&#39;s, Claude Hopkins, Walter Dill Scott, the Elmer Wheeler&#39;s. </p>

<p> Take another ad in which a film actor or a celebrity says, &quot;I prefer to just ride Honda Bike.&quot; Now he is in fact in a chauffeur driven commute imported cars, and sometimes in a private plane. There was this billboard on the highway on which a king size cigarette advertising slogan says, &quot;You have a long way Baby!&quot; This &quot;unique selling proposition is supported by a glamorous model in bikini with long legs! </p>
<p> I may have read all the so-called important books about the <b>ads</b> and the first I was impressed by the commercial arts. But now I think it is useless. In one of the book, the bottom line was: &quot;If an ad does not sale of the product, it is not possible for a creative advertisement. &quot;So its all about selling products and services of any company in whatever way it is. When an <b>advertising agency</b> has a new account, it never will the quality of the products, because all they want, is business of the company. The agencies work more gratifying in the top management, in which case they can. The consumer of the product has never seen! </p>

<p> Now comes the most important fact. You know that 60% of our hard earned income goes to the middlemen such as retailer, wholesaler, wholesale, C &amp; F agents, carriers &#8230; and so on? This chain is supported by <b>advertising</b> and marketing. The fact is that 60% of the&gt; Classifieds away 35% of our hard earned income. Yet surprisingly people like ads on TV show! And read newspapers. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> When I first started thinking exceptional, everyone just told me that I have an <b>ad</b> to do and to be honest, it&#39;s what I thought I should do. After all, this is what businesses need their products and services to promote, do not they? </p>
<p> So, I obey advertised. First in a business magazine that led to nothing, then in a local community magazine &#8211; again nothing and then finally (I had to learn my lesson on this point) in the local newspaper. Nothingnot. </p>
<p> By this point, I was a little frustrated with marketing. Is not it supposed to <b>advertise</b> in search results to bring? All I want done as far as to spend money and have nothing. </p>
<p> After reading tons of marketing books and approximately 6 months later, I finally realized that <b>advertising</b> was simply not going to work for my business. But the funny thing is that when I have other businesses also exactly the same thing that happened to them! </p>
<p> Why wasit? </p>
<p> Well, here&#39;s my theory on the <b>ads. Advertising</b> is very good for making people aware of your business, but not too well in reality to your customers. Think about it this way. </p>
<p> You advertise in your local newspaper. Your potential customers see your ad, interested and means to do something, but the paper gets discarded and forgotten all about. Next week, you can advertise again. The same person will see your ad for a second time and thinkthey really should do something, but forgot all about it as soon as they close the paper. And so it goes on. </p>
<p> Someone may have something to do the third or fourth time they see your ad, but at this point, you have a fortune spent, and although this person, this is the third or fourth time they had seen someone else This is the first time they saw your ad. </p>
<p> And then, consider this scenario &#8230; people flick through the local newspaper, but without the product because advertisingthey think that there is not anything in there that might interest them. </p>
<p> Or worse &#8230; their ad, but it is not clear enough about what you do or who to call, so they do not bother! </p>
<p> Absolute nightmare. </p>
<p> You can see why advertising does not work, as well as they used to do, can not you? These days, we&#39;re just bombarded with them and with Web advertising really the effectiveness they once did. </p>
<p> OK &#8211; so if ads do not work, can you do to make your promotionbusiness especially if you do not have a lot of money? </p>
<p> The good news is that there are actually tax you can do to promote your business, without spending, and pretty much anything. The secret of ideas to promote your business, is to really think about who you are trying to achieve and where they can go. </p>
<p> For an example, I was talking with someone yesterday who told me she tried to builders to achieve. Just think about what builders obviously not aday to day, sometimes without even consciously aware, we have the hardware stores, greasy spoons, Bookies and pubs where its services expand. We also came up with the use of SMS because I know a builder who does not use their cellphone. </p>
